Swell Neuropsychology is an adult (18+) focused private practice serving the greater Portland, Maine area. We provide comprehensive and targeted neuropsychological/psychological evaluations for an array of cognitive concerns, ranging from neurodevelopmental to neurodegenerative conditions. We also provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals and caregiver support groups.

What populations does Swell serve?
Swell specializes in serving adult populations aged 18 and older. At Swell we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all clients, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, ability, or socioeconomic status. We believe everyone deserves a safe and respectful environment to pursue their health and wellness goals. We celebrate the diversity of all individuals and are dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and affirming care.
Does Swell take insurance?
At this time we do not accept insurance for our services. However, we do provide superbills for clients in order to get reimbursed from their insurance provider. We recommend checking with your provider prior to scheduling services to understand your benefits and how much of our services would be covered.
Where is Swell located?
Swell is located in Portland at 188 State Street Suite 407. The entrance to the building is in between Pai Men Miayake and El Corazon. Open the green door and take the elevator up to the 4th floor. There is a waiting room, feel free to take a seat. One of our team members wil come out and greet you when we're ready.
