Dr. Carly Clark is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist at Swell Neuropsychology. She provides individual psychotherapy as well as neuropsychological evaluations for clients 18+ with cognitive and psychological concerns. Dr. Clark employs an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She is also trained in CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), cognitive rehabilitation, and health psychology.
Dr. Clark earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies and Psychology from the University of Vermont. She completed her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in clinical neuropsychology at William James College, with externships at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Butler Hospital, and local school districts. Her predoctoral internship was at the Dallas VA Medical Center, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She completed her second fellowship year at the Boston Child Study Center-Maine, working with youth and adults with diverse neurocognitive and psychiatric concerns.
Dr. Clark has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e., Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities) and adults diagnosed with neurodegenerative disease (i.e., Alzheimer’s disease, Vascular dementia, Parkinson’s disease, Primary Progressive Aphasia, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, etc.) stroke, chronic illness, traumatic brain injuries, and psychiatric conditions.
Dr. Clark utilizes her health psychology and neuropsychology to inform her therapeutic practice. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based treatment to help individuals understand and build upon their strengths and support areas of vulnerability.
